Software for ELAB-080 device

Powerful Measurement and Testing Tool

The software that is included with the ELAB-080 gives the user fast and intuitive access to the DSO, LA, AWG, clock generator, and power supply controls. The application is run as up to 5 separate windows, one with controls for the instruments, 2 other windows showing the results of the DSO and LA, spectral analysis (FFT) window for DSO analysis, and final window showing the AWG waveform. Each of these windows can be toggled on or off, and resized from full screen as small as the user would like.

The ELAB program is a standard Win32 application that will run on Windows98SE, ME, 2000, XP or Vista.

User Friendly Interface

The software environment is designed as a user friendly and easy to make measurements, providing wide range of functions and user settings such as user selectable colors, measurement markers and cursors, abitlity to save data or screen shots for use in presentations or lab reports, etc. Each window alse clearly displays actual user settings such as selected ranges, trigger levels, DC offset and more. The user interface is designed to make operation easy and familiar for anyone that has used a DSO, AWG, LA, clocks generator or power supply before.

Easy conectivity

No driver installation is required when the ELAB is connected to the hosting computer, and software can automatically update firmware in the ELAb hardware if needed. This allows easy portability of the ELAB application across multiple PC's and fast upgrades in the future.

Software updating

The ELAB software is improved and extended by the new functions all the time. All of these updates can be downloaded for free from this web at section “Download“ or directly from producer's WWW pages: www.dynoninstruments.com

Custom User Software

A fully documented DLL library is also available, allowing fast and easy writing of a custom software and integration the ELAB instrument to the various software environments such as LabView, TestPoint, etc. Demonstration program for LabView environment is aslo delivered on CD.

Software try-out possibility

For demonstration purposes it is possible to start ELAB application without connected device. So if you don't have an Elab device, you can download the software and try it out in demo mode. Application in demo mode is fully functional and it is possible to try out all functions and possibilities as with connected ELAB-080 device.
