Professional tool for measuring and testing

Cleverscope application for CS320A oscilloscope offers a wide range of measuring, displaying, processing and saving possibilities for measured data at professional level. Software is designed for easy and inutitive usage with user friendly interface. Application is designed for use on PC compatible computers with operational systems Microsoft Windows (98SE, NT, 2000, XP, Vista 32 and 64) or Linux (version for Linux OS is in preparation at the present time). The minimum PC requirements to use the Cleverscope CS320A are a Pentium class computer with at least 64 Mbyte of memory, but full performance is assured with a Pentium III+ computer running at 500MHz or more and with 64 Mbyte of memory or more.

Cleverscope application main features:
  • Separate, freely moveable and resizable windows to display the signal, a zoomed signal view, frequency spectrum of the signal,control panel, etc.
  • Spectrum analysis with a variety of conditioning windows.
  • Displaying measured singals in XY mode
  • Each signal window includes a time/amplitude tracer, and two markers for comparison purposes. Colours are user definable.
  • Signal averaging (exponential, block and peak hold) and low pass filtering.
  • Full mathematical functions including + - / * sqrt, transcendental functions, integral differential and filtering. Up to 8 user defined mathematical equations.
  • Logging and displaying of derived values such as Frequency, RMS, Peak-Peak value, period, DC, standard deviation, etc.
  • Easy Copy and Paste graphic or data to other applications.
  • Save and Open measured data from disk, including autosave following trigger.
  • User defined units, signal names and scaling (offset and gain).
  • Posibility of inserting text annotations for each graph.
  • Web server for remote viewing of LAN connected units.
Software and firmware updates

Cleverscope application is improved and extended by the new functions all the time as the CS320A firmware. All of these updates are freely downloadable from our “Download“ section or directly from manufacture webpages: Cleverscope.

Try out software withour Cleverscope unit

Cleverscope application enables to start this software without connected device. When application is started without connected Cleverscope device, it is possible to use simulator of signal generator or it is possible to make real measurements using PC sound card inputs as signal source.

Custom software development

As a part of software for Cleverscope CS320A the DLL library is also supplied on CD including detailed usage description. This library allows users to develop own appliactions or use Cleverscope device in other software environments such as National Instrument LabView, Mathworks Matlab, etc. Examples for library usage in software development environments (C++ Builder, Delphi, National Instruments Labview 7.1, 8.2 and 8.5) are available in section “Download“.
